Parkhurst currently has positions available for experienced welders.‭  ‬We offer a competitive wage and excellent benefits. ‭  ‬Successful candidates must be experienced in both MIG and stick welding and able to pass a welding test.‭  ‬A solid work history,‭ ‬good attitude,‭ ‬and production welding experience are a must. ‭  ‬Forklift experience,‭ ‬CDL license,‭ ‬or spray paint experience is a plus.

Production Painter

Parkhurst Manufacturing is looking for a skilled painter with previous industrial paint experience.  

Responsibilities & Job Requirements

  • Techniques to achieve adequate paint coverage
  • Adjust for changing environmental conditions
  • Proper surface preparation
  • Use of airless and air assist spray equipment
  • Painting primer and finish coats
  • Changing out paints, primer, and catalyzing
  • Using measurement equipment
  • Proper storage techniques
  • Preventive maintenance for equipment
  • Repairing paint defects
  • Using a respirator
  • Operating a forklift

Qualifications & Skills

  • Ability to recognize and solve practical problems
  • Ability to communicate and work with others in a team environment
  • Demonstrate ability to adjust and learn from mistakes
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Maintain good attendance and punctuality
  • Work overtime as assigned
